After 2 days of cancelled flights, lost luggage and 10 hours of standing in line for assistance from Lufthansa, we gave up and purchased 2 new tickets to Heathrow. Wilma & Mike met us in London and we spent the remainder of our trip there. We toured the Tower of London, Churchill War Rooms and had a great time viewing the lights. Also had incredible meals in a variety of different pubs. Sadly, we had to say goodbye after weeks of fun and laughter and caught our flight home on December 6. Our luggage arrived in Calgary later on December 11. A pretty stressful end to an otherwise beautiful trip!
