We did a tour of the Morse Farm Maple Sugarworks in Montpelier, eight generation family maple farm. Very authentic and we learned a lot…it takes 40 gallons of maple sap (looks like water) to make 1 gallon of maple syrup. There are no additives in pure maple syrup, the water is just steamed away.
