Snow, heavy rain and steep mountain passes were the start of our day. After lunch we managed to get over to the Oregon coast and things improved considerably. We were in the Astoria KOA by 4PM. A fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean is always worth stopping for. We stopped into the Ship Out Fish
Our return trip North took us through Sacramento and up to Mt. Shasta, CA. WE stayed on the I5 interstate and climbed / descended some brutally steep hills. The next morning in Mt. Shasta we were greeted with a snow storm.
