Morning departure from the North Shore RV Park. Drove into Belleville and parked the RV. Went to visit Harold & Doris, went through family photos before heading toward Ottawa. Huge lightning & thunder storm this morning at 4:30 AM! Lots of wind & rain. Very humid this morning and temperature heading for 30+C. Visiting relatives and getting packed up for tomorrows departure. Went to classic car cruise night with Sharon’s brother in the evening. Finished the evening with nachos & drinks with Paul &
Sharon went to her hair appointment and we had lunch with Nancy & Ken at a nice restaurant on the Trent Canal in Trenton.A short stop at the local Dairy Queen and finished the the day with a very nice visit with Sharon’s brother Mike in Demorestville.
Tim Horton’s again!!! who hooo. Worked around the RV and site, did some shopping and had a family BBQ at the campsite. Sharon got a ride in Brian’s car. Ken, Nancy, Brian, Monique, Michelle, Paul, Laura and mom were all here. Great meal and a few beer were consumed.
Had my first Tim Horton’s in 5 weeks!!! Went to the Belleville city centre farmers market for our weeks supply of home grown products. Excellent fruit and vegetables everywhere this year. We went to Kingston to get a new camera and back to the RV site. Very tired and a bit of jet lag.
Landed late last night and had a great night’s rest. Spent the day getting settled and the RV moved over to North Shore RV park just south of Trenton, ON. Took Sharon’s mom out for her 80 th birthday.
Finished packing for trip to Germany/England & Ireland. Took trailer and truck to Mike’s to store while we are away. Mom picked us up and we visited in the afternoon. Walked along Lake Ontario. Took bus to Toronto in the early evening and caught the plane at 9:45 p.m.
Spent the morning in the trailer getting ready to fly to Germany. Spent the afternoon with Mom in Picton, ON. Visited grave sites of lost relatives (there is getting to be too many). In the evening, had a great visit with Mike & Graeme. Ivy covered house in Picton, ON
Went to the spa in Brighton in the morning. Visited with Mom in the afternoon and went to the cheese factory to pick up maple syrup to take to Germany. Wayne, Brian, Monique, Marc, Michelle and Mom came to the trailer for supper. Had a great visit. Downtown Brighton, ON
Went to Nancy & Ken’s in the morning. Nancy and I had lunch together (great salad) and then she cut my hair. Bob and Ken visited and had lunch together as well. Went to Paul and Laura’s for supper. Nicole and her boyfriend Chris was there too. Wonderful meal and great visit.
