5 AM departure, caught the 8:30 AM ferry out of Holyhead, Wales for Dublin. After 3 hours in the Irish Sea and a few detours in Dublin we were at The Clyde Court Inn. The tour director took us to St. Patricks Cathedral (1190 AD), then Trinity College to see the 8th century Book of Kells. Upstairs in the Long Room, 200,000 of the Library’s oldest books are housed in a procession of oak bookcases dating back to the 4th century. Finished the day with a group dinner.
