Chicksaw Interpretation Centre, Sulphur, OK

We took a short drive from our campground in Paul’s Valley over to Davis and Sulphur, OK. First stop was in Davis at the Bedre Chocolate Store. Next stop was a few miles away in Sulphur at the Chickasaw Interpretation Centre. Incredible world class centre with lots of history and artifacts.

Oklahoma City, OK

We spent 2 days at the Oak Bluff RV Park in Chandler, OK. A small town on Route 66 with lots of old vintage era buildings. We drove into Oklahoma City to see the location of the Oklahoma City bombing and museum. Incredible place and a very thorough presentation of the event and history.

Springfield, MO

Nice, warm easy day today. We spent the morning relaxing at the RV site, then decided to go and explore the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden. Entrance cost was $6 each.

Moberly, Missouri

As a result of our RV not fitting into a pre-booked RV park we opted for the Thompson Park in Moberley and we’re very happy with the change. Moberly is the hometown of General Omer Bradley, of the Bradley Fighting vehicles fame and is also the hometown of the founder of GoDaddy.com.

Dyersville, Iowa

If you build it, they will come. We drove an hour East of Waterloo to Dyersville, IA to see the Field of Dreams movie site. It is very calming and tranquil site.
