We spent the day relaxing in our campground and made a quick trip into town for groceries. The helicopter worked most of the day hauling water up the hill to drop on the small fires still burning. We walked past the blooming orchards to Dairy Queen.

Penticton / Oliver, BC

We walked to Tim Horton’s (2.7  miles) and met up with Henry Bles before heading out to Penticton so Henry could get some work done on his car. We took the back roads and the scenery was very nice. Sharon &   I walked through downtown Penticton before stopping at a Chinese Buffet for lunch.
