Sacramento to Medford, OR

Very nice and sunny day today. Temperatures ranged from 65F to nearly 80F. We drove north of Sacramento on I5 all the way to Medford, Oregon, arriving about 4 PM. We left Reno midmorning after having breakfast at the Casino. I80 route took us up and over the pass, near the Tahoe ski area and through the Sierra Nevada range of mountains. There was some very steep climbs at first but it seemed to be easy downhill coasting the rest of the trip from the summit.
