The San Antonio area has several very old missions, some dating back to the late 1600’s. We drove to each of them today and toured the grounds. They are all still active churches but the National Park Service maintains the buildings and grounds. The temperature reached 80F today with periods of clouds and sun.
This morning we took a drive out to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. It’s a wildlife park that you can drive through. All of the animals are free to roam anywhere in the area and can be seen close up to your vehicle as you go. $17 ea. for the day and you can go
Today we went directly to the coast. It’s about a 45 minute drive from our campground to the entrance to the National Park area. The entrance fee is $10 per vehicle and is valid for one week. The road is paved and there are lots of places o pull in and go to the beach.
