Missions Tour, San Antonio, TX

The San Antonio area has several very old missions, some dating back to the late 1600’s. We drove to each  of them today and toured the grounds. They are all still active churches but the National Park Service maintains the buildings and grounds. The temperature reached 80F today with periods of clouds and sun.

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, Downtown, San Antonio, TX

Padre Island National Seashore, TX

Today we went directly to the coast. It’s about a 45 minute drive from our campground to the entrance to the National Park area. The entrance fee is $10 per vehicle and is valid for one week. The road is paved and there are lots of places o pull in and go to the beach.
